Tata Motors have joined the other automobile makers to hike prices across their entire range in India. The brand has raised cost of several models including the electric flagship SUV, the Harrier EV.
With the latest price hike, the cost of the Harrier EV has increased by up to Rs. 11,000. However, the price hike is not uniform across all variants, with the increase ranging between Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 11,000.
The electric SUV now comes with a revised price of Rs. 21.79 lakh, ex-showroom. Meanwhile, the feature rich top-spec variant price has been increased to Rs. 30.54 lakh, ex-showroom.

Meanwhile, Tata Motors recently announced the extension of its BaaS pricing programme across its entire EV range. Under this programme, the Harrier EV’s upfront cost has been decreased by Rs. 7.30 lakh. With this, Harrier EV’s starting price has been brought down to Rs. 14.49 lakh. This is accompanied by a battery rental fee of Rs. 5.9 per km.
Note that the Tata Motors’ Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) pricing program separates the cost of the electric car’s battery from the vehicle chassis, lowering the upfront purchase price and financing the battery through a separate usage-based loan or rental structure.
