Sand-laden Hyva crashes into house in Ganjam, family escapes unhurt

Ganjam: A Hyva truck laden with sand slammed into a house in Damadorpalli village of Ganjam district of Odisha under Dharakote police limits on late Saturday night.

Occupants inside the home were safe in the accident while the driver of the truck is said to have sustained injuries.

According to sources, the truck filled with sand was travelling from Soroda towards Aska.

It is suspected that the driver of the vehicle was driving inattentively and he lost control over the vehicle before it went off the road and ran into the house in Damadorpalli village.

On getting the information, Dharakote police rushed to the spot and started investigating into the matter.

The reason of the incident is yet to be identified by the police.
