Railway Recruitment Cell, Western Railway has released the latest notification for recruitment of 5066 Apprentice posts. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the recruitment drive via online mode by visiting the the official website of RRC WR at rrc-wr.com starting from September 23. A total of 5066 vacancies will be filled in the Western Railway. The registration process ends on October 22, 2024.

Registration end date: October 22, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who have passed matriculation or class 10 in the 10+2 examination system with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from the recognized Board are eligible to apply. The age of the candidate should be above 15 years of age and below 24 years of age as of 22/10/2024. Moreover, they should have a ITI certificate affiliated to NCVT/SCVT.
Note that if your SSC / ITI results have not been out and are awaited as of the date of notification then you are not eligible to apply.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 100/-, which is nonrefundable. However, the SC/ST/PWD/Women Applicants are exempted from the payment of the fee. The payment can be made using a Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, etc., by providing information as asked on the screen.

Selection Process
The selection of the candidate will be done based on the merit list, which will be prepared taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the Applicants in both Matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both.
After that the shortlisted candidates will be subjected to verification of original testimonials and Medical Fitness Certificates to determine the final set of selected candidates.
