Looted ATM recovered from field in Odisha’s Jajpur district

Jajpur: The HDFC Bank ATM that was broken into and looted yesterday night in Jajpur district of Odisha has been recovered from a field. However, the miscreants have taken away the money and only the empty ATM has been recovered.

According to reports, the robbers broke into the kiosk and stole the ATM machine of HDFC bank near Mainda Chhaka under Binjharpur Police Station limits in Jajpur District along with the money yesterday night.

A trolley auto was also stolen from in front of the bank.

After getting information, Binjharpur Police reached the spot and initiated investigation. Police swung into action and today morning recovered the empty ATM machine from a field.

While further investigation of the case is underway the authorities are working to track down the culprits.
