New Delhi: Cooking expenses in the country’s commercial enterprises are expected to go down substantially with the prices of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders reduced by Rs 183.50 effective from July 1.
This reduction was on the back of previous increases due to the sharp fluctuation in crude prices amid global geopolitics and tensions between Iran and Israel.
Following stability in global crude prices, oil marketing companies have decided to bring down prices for commercial customers.

This reduction comes as a relief to the hoteliers, restaurant operators, caterers, and other establishments that depend on commercial cooking gas to run their businesses.
Business operators are hopeful that this will reduce their operational costs, and the relief may be passed on to customers in due course.
Meanwhile, no change in price was seen for 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders, and domestic consumers would continue to pay the old rates.
