BM Food & Night Life: For an Indian curry

Of course, there are curries in the rest of the world too, especially in countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan. But the Indian curry! That is a staple that you will find in Indian restaurants across the world and in the homes of people from the Indian diaspora, and even non-Indian enthusiasts of our desi food.
Now, Taste Atlas has released a list of the world’s best rated curries and it is proof that Indian curries are beloved by so many around the world. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in all things Indian – including, of course, Indian food – and desi khaana has made its mark on the international food scene.
So which are the curries from India that have hit the big time? The world’s best-rated curries list has India’s Shahi Paneer at fourth position, Malai Kofta in fifth place, and Butter Chicken at sixth position.
Thailand rules in terms of the number of top rated curries – the country has a whopping five curries in the list, while Japan has two.
