EPFO Jammu celebrates 72nd Foundation Day - Greater Kashmir
by GK NEWS SERVICE · Greater KashmirJammu, Nov 1: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Regional Office in Jammu commemorated its 72nd Foundation Day by recognising outstanding officials and showcasing significant organisational achievements.
Regional PF Commissioner-I Rizwan Uddin led the celebration, highlighting the remarkable progress and commitment of employees.
The regional office demonstrated impressive growth, with a 9% increase in administrative account income for the financial year 2024-25 compared to the previous year. Membership saw a substantial rise of 21%, expanding from 4,94,860 accounts in 2023-24 to 5,98,174 in the current year.
Notable achievements include a reduced rejection ratio, dropping from 17% in April-September 2023 to 15% in the same period of 2024. The office has been particularly innovative, introducing flexi-working hours as early as July-August 2021, with nearly 45% of claims processed between 7:00 AM and 9:20 AM.
Several employees received special recognition for their exceptional performance. Sanjeev Kumar, Senior Social Security Assistant, emerged as a standout performer, processing an unprecedented 1,124 claims in a single day on 16/09/2024 and settling a total of 18,578 claims in the current financial year.
Women employees also played a crucial role, with Minakshi, Sr. SSA, settling 8,217 claims, including 95 death claims. Other notable contributors included Sheesh Kumar, Rinku Sharma, and various multi-tasking staff who demonstrated remarkable dedication.
The PF Commissioner emphasised the importance of volunteerism and team-building initiatives, crediting these approaches for creating a positive work environment and improving overall organizational performance.
The celebration not only acknowledged individual achievements but also highlighted the collective efforts that have positioned the EPFO Jammu Regional Office as a model of efficiency and service excellence.
