New prices have been showing up and in this post, we will go through the price hikes of some of India’s favourite ladder frame SUVs from Mahindra, Scorpio Classic and Thar Roxx.
Thar Roxx Price Hike July 2026
For the month of July 2026, both Thar Roxx and Scorpio Classic have received a systematic price hike that goes up to Rs 78,000, depending on the model and variant. Price hike is not the same across variants and depends on individual trim level, engine choice (with Thar Roxx) and then gearbox and drivetrain configurations.
Starting with Thar Roxx, it is currently India’s favourite and best-selling 5-Door lifestyle off-roader in the country. It is popular for its handsome looks and high desirability quotient. The highest price hike mentioned of Rs up to Rs 78,000 is for the Thar Roxx. With Thar Roxx, Mahindra has hiked the prices across all variants.
The price hike ranges between Rs 12,500 and Rs 78,000 with Thar Roxx. The least price hike of Rs 12,500 is with the base MX1 Petrol MT 2WD variant. Within the Petrol variant lineup of Mahindra Thar Roxx, Star Edition AT 2WD variant has received the highest price hike, which amounts to Rs 59,000.
Where Diesel variants are concerned, price hike ranges between Rs 22,500 and Rs 78,000. The least price hike is with MX5 MT 2WD variant at Rs 22,500, while the highest price hike of Rs 78,000 is with top-spec trim variants of Thar Roxx like AX7 L 2WD and AX7 L 2WD with Mocha interior theme.
Scorpio Classic Price Hike July 2026
The popularity and simplicity of Scorpio Classic has kept the model going and is sold alongside the newer and blockbuster Scorpio N. Currently, Scorpio Classic is only offered with S and S11 trim levels, while a mid-spec S5 trim level was rumoured and even spotted in public roads, but it was never launched.
There are four variants of Scorpio Classic – two with S trim, two with S11 trim. S MT 7S variant prices has been hiked by Rs 37,000, while S MT 9S variant has seen a price hike of Rs 39,000. Both the S11 trim variants (S11 MT 7S and S11 MT 7S CC) have received a price hike of Rs 40,000. Revised prices of Scorpio Classic now ranges between Rs 13.37 lakh and Rs 17.4 lakh (Ex-sh).
