BMW launched its most accessible twin-cylinder ADV tourer ‘F 450 GS’ earlier this year in April. The bike is available in three variants and the initial offer price was Rs 4.70 lakh for the base variant. Bookings in June 2026 were halted temporarily, likely due to increased demand in India and abroad. Prices of the BMW F 450 GS have now been increased, which could also indicate a potential resumption of bookings in the near future. However, there is no official statement.
BMW F 450 GS – New price list
Price hike for BMW F 450 GS is likely due to increase in production costs. The bike’s specs and its variants remain unchanged. The Base variant was earlier available at Rs 4.70 lakh. With its price increased by Rs 25,000, the Base variant now costs Rs 4.95 lakh. Next is the Exclusive variant, which was earlier available at Rs 4.90 lakh. This variant is also priced Rs 25,000 higher, leading to its new price of Rs 5.15 lakh.
Top variant of F 450 GS is GS Trophy, which has exclusive features like ERC (Easy Ride Clutch) and adjustable suspension. It is reported that the top variant of F 450 GS has the highest demand in India as well as export markets. The GS Trophy was earlier available at a starting price of Rs 5.30 lakh. With the price increased by Rs 30,000, the new price is Rs 5.60 lakh.
With booming demand for sub-500cc adventure bikes globally, the BMW F 450 GS has emerged as one of the preferred options. The bike is available at competitive pricing in Europe as well, where it targets the popular A2 license category. Since the bike is currently manufactured only in India, there could be some pressure to meet the high demand globally.
