Triumph Speed 400, Tracker 400 Prices Cut – Free Accessories, Festive Bonanza

Triumph 400 range has expanded to six distinctive models, offering plenty of choices to enthusiasts. Sales are booming, with Triumph 400 bikes ranked 6th in the list of bestselling 350cc-450cc motorcycles. Triumph had increased prices twice since April, when the 350cc versions were launched. Now, as the festive season begins, Triumph has reduced prices for Speed 400 and Tracker 400.

Speed 400, Tracker 400 prices slashed

Price of Triumph Speed 400 has been reduced by Rs 6,000. The new price is Rs 2.34 lakh. This brings the price at the same level as it was in June 2026. Tracker 400 sees a price reduction of Rs 7,000. Its new price is Rs 2.42 lakh. This is even lower than Rs 2.46 lakh price in June 2026. While a price cut is always a welcome development for buyers, it will be available only for a limited period.

Triumph has further sweetened the deal by offering free accessories worth Rs 6,500 with Speed 400. Anyone making the purchase during the offer period will get free accessories like a windscreen, tank pad and knee pads. Prices of other Triumph 400 bikes remain unchanged. Most affordable is Speed T4, available at a starting price of Rs 2.09 lakh.

In terms of pricing, next in the lineup is Scrambler 400X, priced at Rs 2.65 lakh. A new colour option was recently introduced with Scrambler 400X for MY26. Next is Triumph Thruxton 400, available at a starting price of Rs 2.75 lakh. Costliest bike in Triumph 400 range is Scrambler 400 XC, available at Rs 2.99 lakh.

Offering multiple models derived from the same platform is a strategy that has worked well for Triumph. To further bolster its presence in the 350cc-450cc motorcycle segment, Triumph is working on the Bonneville 400. Test mules have been spotted multiple times and launch is expected in 2026. Bonneville 400 will be a direct challenger to Royal Enfield Classic 350.

Triumph 400 range – Performance, specs

Triumph 400 bikes were earlier equipped with a 398.15 cc engine. To benefit from the new GST rates, down from 40% to 18%, these bikes now use a 349cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. The reduction in displacement was achieved via a shortened stroke, from 64 mm to 56.1 mm. While reducing the displacement to 350cc, these bikes retain their original ‘400’ badge.

There are slight differences in engine output, depending on the variant. For context, the Speed T4 generates 29 PS and 31 Nm of torque. In comparison, Speed 400 produces 37 PS and 32 Nm with the same engine. Triumph Thruxton 400 has an even higher output of 40 PS. All Triumph 400 bikes are paired with a 6-speed transmission.

These bikes share a tubular steel hybrid spine and perimeter frame, integrated with a bolt-on rear subframe. Most of these bikes have 43 mm USD front forks and a gas charged monoshock RSU at the rear. Braking setup comprises 300 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes. Dual-channel ABS is offered as standard. Other key features include traction control, all-LED lighting, ride-by-wire throttle, assist and slipper clutch, Type-C USB port and a dual format (analogue + digital) instrument console.
