This way, Mahindra is expanding its ever-popular Scorpio nameplate to appeal to wider range of audiences and pull in customers from genres other than SUVs.
Deliveries will start in April 2027, but testing is going on in full swing in India where it will be manufactured and will be shipped to global markets. Latest test mules sighting happened in Coimbatore by Karan Bhambhu, showing production-spec lighting elements and exterior design elements which we saw at the launch last month.
Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler Spied
Scorpio Lifestyler is a mid-size pickup truck which will take on the likes of Toyota Hilux and Isuzu V-Cross. In India, Scorpio Lifestyler is the spiritual successor of Scorpio Getaway and will cater to the demographic who are into adventure and lifestyle related activities. We can also see farmer owners and engineers waiting for Scorpio Lifestyler too.
Latest spy shots of Scorpio Lifestyler show production-spec elements Mahindra unveiled on August 15th last month in Mumbai. We’re talking about the new tailgate with MAHINDRA lettering, new LED tail lights, chunky bumpers, massive grille up front, new and sleeker LED headlights along with vertically arranged Ice Cube fog lights.
At the sides, we can see that Scorpio N silhouette is quite evident. Everything behind rear doors is a load bed with wheel well intrusions and is physically detached from the passenger shell. Load bed looks large and sizable to carry a couple of motorcycles or bicycles or a canoe or even build a campervan on it.
There are roof racks which allow further versatility. Other notable elements with this upcoming pickup truck by Mahindra include chunky wheel arch claddings, 18-inch alloy wheels with dual tone finish and then these wheels are shod with fat 255-section tyres. Suspension setup also comprises of frequency dependant dampers.
Feature-Rich Cabin
Inside, Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler gets a feature-rich cabin. Notable elements are a new dedicated steering wheel, an all new dashboard with vertically laid-out AC vents, a large portrait-style infotainment screen, landscape-style TFT instrument cluster, dual zone climate control, driver monitoring, sunroof, ventilated seats, surround cameras, sophisticated ADAS suite and more.
Powering the Scorpio Lifestyler is the same engine options as other Mahindra offerings including Scorpio N SUV. These include the 2.0L Turbo Petrol and 2.2L Turbo Diesel. Both manual and automatic gearbox options will be offered and 4X4 transfer case along with Terrain Modes will be offered at least as an option.
