Viewers of Strictly Come Dancing were taken aback during last night's episode as they appeared to witness Katya Jones pushing her dance partner Wynne Evans during a group interaction on the live show. The moment occurred when Wynne, 52, placed his arm around 35 year old Katya's waist, which seemed to prompt a less than thrilled reaction from her.

Attentive fans were quick to bring the uncomfortable moment to light online. One viewer tweeted, "Anyone else see Katya push wynne's hand away."

Another added their observation with, "Katya moving Wynne's hand away then...." A third fan noted, "Did anybody else just see Katya push away Wynne's hand - she did that awkward smile."

Despite the offbeat moment, Katya and Wynne captivated judges with their sharp tango routine to ABBA’s Money, Money, Money. Craig Revel Horwood peppered his feedback with his typical biting wit but ultimately showed support, commenting, "You bum was sticking up - but I loved, loved, loved it. Winner, winner, win.", reports Birmingham Live.

Motsi Mabuse expressed her approval saying, "This was your best dance yet, I've been waiting for this dance, I knew it was coming. What I love is that you guys give us a story...beautifully timed."

Shirley Ballas glowed with enthusiasm for their performance, sharing, "I got goosebumps, it was passionate and told a tale. You got out there and I could see you're in it to win it."

Wynne was awarded an 8 by Craig and Anton, while Shirley and Motsi gave him a nine, marking his highest score so far. Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec led the scoreboard for the second consecutive week.

They achieved an almost perfect score of 39 out of 40, with three judges - Shirley, Motsi and Anton - giving them the first 10s of the contest.
