Ice skating at Winter Wonderland in Nottingham

How to get cheaper ice skating at Nottingham's Winter Wonderland

by · NottinghamshireLive

Thousands of people will be donning on their skates to glide or stumble their way around the ice rink at Nottingham's Winter Wonderland over the Christmas period. The price of the ticket also includes the Sky Skate aerial path that takes skaters up and over and festive market.

The attraction in Old Market Square has several tiers of prices - super off-peak, off-peak and peak - depending on the day and time you visit. This year there will be a rink specifically for children.

The 75-minute session starts at £12.50 for adults and £8 for children under the age of 12 or a family ticket (two adults and two under 15s or one adult and three under 15s) is from £35.

At peak times prices rise to £16.50 for adults, £10.50 under 12s and a family ticket £45. However, discounts are available for a particular group of people. Residents who pay council tax to Nottingham City Council can get reduced price tickets for super off-peak and off peak sessions.

Throughout November super off-peak times are weekdays 11.15am to 4.55pm, changing to off-peak 5.30pm to 9.15pm. Weekends are off-peak.

In December weekdays from December 2 to 13 follow the same off-peak and super off-peak times. Weekends and weekdays from December 16 to December 24 are all classed as peak. Boxing Day to New Year's Eve is off-peak.
