Sky Black Friday 2024 deals launched - including 'lowest price' TV package and broadband

Sky has kicked off its Black Friday sale, offering customers the chance to save hundreds on TV packages, broadband and mobile plans. The sale is now live with significant discounts on Sky TV, Sky Glass and superfast Sky Broadband.

Shoppers can secure a tempting £168 discount on a TV and Netflix bundle, or get 150Mbps broadband for its 'lowest ever price'. Those looking for a new smartphone can also benefit from deals on devices from Apple, Samsung and Google, which can be paired with Sky Mobile's discounted data plans.

The deals are available now and will continue until Tuesday, December 3.

Sky's 'lowest price' TV package

Sky has reduced the price of its Ultimate TV Package – that includes Sky TV and Netflix – to its 'lowest price' ever.

The plan is now available for £19 a month, down from the usual £26, saving members £168 over the 24-month term. The package comes with a new Sky Stream box, Sky's plug-in-and-play device that streams live and on-demand content over WiFi without the need for a satellite dish, reports the Express.

It includes the same blockbuster titles as traditional Sky, with more than 100 channels like Sky Atlantic – the home of The Penguin, The Day of the Jackal and Dune: Prophecy – plus a Netflix subscription at no extra cost.

After the 24-month period, the plan will renew at £31 on a 31-day rolling contract until cancelled. This deal is also available with Sky Glass – Sky's own 4K UHD smart TV with built-in Sky – from £33 a month.

Sky Broadband deals

For those looking to upgrade their broadband and enjoy the latest series, Sky is offering its comprehensive Sky Stream, Sky TV, Netflix and Full Fibre 150 broadband plan for £38 a month. Usually priced at £39, this includes over 100 channels with Sky Stream, a Netflix subscription and fibre broadband with average speeds of up to 150Mbps.

To simplify the process of switching providers, Sky has recently introduced its new One Touch Switch process, which eliminates the need for customers to contact their current provider. Sky will now manage the switch on their behalf, as well as offering round-the-clock support from a real person with its dedicated 24/7 switching service.

If you're satisfied with your current TV service but want faster broadband, Sky has also reduced its Full Fibre 150 broadband to its 'lowest ever price' of £27 a month on a 24-month plan. Sky has teamed up with Currys to offer a significant saving on a Sky Glass package.

Sky Glass Black Friday deals

Sky Glass usually starts at £14 a month for the 43" model, plus £28 for a Sky TV and Netflix bundle, but Currys customers can now get it in one simple subscription from £33. Sky Glass, the UHD Quantum Dot TV with an integrated Dolby Atmos soundbar and built-in Sky TV, is available in three sizes from 43" to 65" and comes in a variety of colours such as Ocean Blue, Ceramic White, and Anthracite Black. The package includes over 100 channels, Netflix subscription as part of Sky's Ultimate TV Package, featuring premium channels like Sky Atlantic and Sky Documentaries, along with voice control and personalised recommendations.

In a direct purchase deal, Sky has cut the price of the Sky Glass bundle, offering the Sky Glass and Ultimate TV Package for £33, a reduction from the standard £42.

Sky Mobile Black Friday offers

In addition to television and broadband, Sky is offering significant discounts on smartphones and data plans through Sky Mobile's Black Friday deals. Customers can save up to £276 on the new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, now available from £38 per month, reduced from £48, or take £180 off the Google Pixel 9 Pro, now starting at £29 per month, down from £34.

The iPhone SE also sees a price drop, now at £13 a month, reflecting a £45 saving. Each phone deal comes with a 36-month plan and the option to upgrade after 24 months without additional costs.

For those looking to pair their new smartphone with ample data, Sky Mobile is offering six months at half price on selected data plans, allowing customers to save £15 a month on the 100GB plan and £8 a month on the 25GB plan.

Sky Mobile offers a feature where any unused data is rolled over into a Sky Piggybank each month, ready to be used when you need an extra data boost. Elsewhere, Virgin Media has also launched for its Black Friday sale and is offering three months free on its broadband and bundle packages.

Deals include three months fee on its Biggest Bundle. The package includes Gig1 Fibre Broadband, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema HD, 210+ TV channels & Netflix Standard with ads for £85 a month from month four.
