10 key leads cops are accused of ignoring in Nancy Guthrie missing case

by · The News International

With the presumed kidnappers of Nancy Guthrie still eluding the authorities, criticism is mounting against the officials by critics over what they say are key clues in the case that are overlooked.

Jennifer Coffinader, a retired FBI agent who is closely monitoring developments in the case, shared 10 steps that may solve it and that have yet to be fully used by the cops.

She said to replace current billboards with the photos of the so-called 'Porch Guy' who was caught on camera at Nancy's front door.

Given the area's demographics, Coffinader suggested adding Spanish-language text to improve appeal.

The ex-FBI agent also added a billboard campaign to expand into Tucson to reach a wider audience.

The post on X also proposed that the investigators release the details of the 'Porch Guy', including his shoe size and enhanced images of the masked man.

Another suggestion which may come across as unusual is to pour a sizeable amount of money into Bitcoin accounts linked to the ransom notes, which arrived following Nancy's disappearance.

By doing this, Coffinadder believed the suspects may make a move and potentially could be traced.

In addition, the retired FBI agent urged the authorities to increase the reward money from the current $1.2 million to $2.2 million.

Among the other suggestions are allowing private volunteer search groups and retesting DNA.

Despite Nancy being missing for over 100 days, the authorities have yet to produce a suspect.
