New Era Names New Head of North America Marketing

New Era, the sports and lifestyle brand, has named Jennifer Matthews senior vice president of marketing for North America.

Matthews comes to New Era from FanDuel where she served as vice president of brand strategy, overseeing creative strategy, product marketing, integrated marketing and social and digital content strategy.

Prior to FanDuel, Matthews held marketing roles with PointsBet, Monumental Sports Network, Sports Illustrated, ESPN and MSNBC.

The Buffalo, N.Y.-based New Era was founded in 1920 as a headwear brand and has since expanded into apparel and accessories. It has more than 1,000 stores globally and is carried in 125 countries.
