Mykita is reinforcing its U.S. retail presence with a new store in Beverly Hills, introducing a concept that combines eyewear with eye examinations and personalized optical services.
Located at 9612 Brighton Way, the 2,370-square-foot store replaces the Berlin-based eyewear brand’s downtown Los Angeles location, which opened in 2016.
“Beverly Hills strengthens our long-term commitment to the West Coast and marks an important step in the development of our U.S. presence,” said Moritz Krüger, founder and creative director of Mykita, in a statement to WWD.

The store features eyewear displays and consultation areas, a dedicated space for eye examinations, an on-site workshop for lens fittings and adjustments, and a VIP area. Developed in-house, the interior incorporates aluminum displays, natural oak furnishings, curved architectural elements and pale peach accents.

“Luxury today is defined not only by the product, but also by the quality of the experience. Customers value expertise, personal attention and services tailored to their individual needs,” Krüger continued.
Optical services include retinal imaging, eye-pressure testing and personalized lens consultations, supported by licensed remote optometrists and Mykita’s in-house optical team.
The expanded services are intended to deepen customer relationships and inform product development as Mykita continues to grow in the U.S., its largest market.
“We have seen consistently strong performance and sustained growth in recent years, demonstrating that the brand is firmly established and continues to resonate with American consumers,” Krüger added.
Founded in Berlin in 2003, Mykita opened its first store in the German capital in 2008. It now operates 13 stores across North America, Europe and Asia, including three in the U.S. The brand entered the American market with a SoHo location in New York in 2013, followed by a store on Madison Avenue in 2021.
For 2027, Mykita plans to bring its new retail concept to other major cities internationally, develop its presence in China and build on its global wholesale partnerships.
“Our approach to expansion is deliberate. We want to build a meaningful presence in markets where our design philosophy resonates and where we can create lasting value for customers and partners alike,” Krüger said.
