TENCEL™ Lyocell – HV100 has changed the game in denim. While conventional TENCEL™ has been used in denim for decades now, these new fibers are opening up more applications for the wood-based materials.

The differentiator for TENCEL™ Lyocell – HV100 is variocut technology. Unlike standard TENCEL™ that is all the same exact length, the fibers are cut to varied lengths. Where conventional lyocell is silky and drapey, TENCEL™ Lyocell – HV100 offers a more texturized look akin to fibers like cotton or hemp. This likeness extends to appearance in the weave, dye uptake and wash down.

Dozens of mills are already using TENCEL™ Lyocell – HV100 in programs, and the TENCEL™ Denim team has just partnered on the second showcase collection with manufacturing partners. Here, Saitex, SM Denim Mills, Twin Dragon Marketing Inc., XDD Denim and YuanJi Denim share their experiences and takeaways from their work with TENCEL™ Lyocell – HV100.
