May 5 : Nissan Motor is planning to cut about 10 per cent of its workforce in Europe and combine two production lines at the UK's Sunderland plant as part of the Japanese automaker's global restructuring, the Financial Times said on Tuesday.

Reuters could not immediately verify the report.
