Navin Nischal Gurung, a fuel monitor at the company, has been detained for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl.
The incident reportedly occurred at the Alvino Guest House in Ganta, where Gurung was staying as a guest.
He allegedly invited the victim to Room 115 and carried out the alleged act there.
Multiple sources told FrontPage Africa that the victim and suspect began an affair in early February 2026, but her parents only learned of it a few days ago.
Reports gathered by FPA indicate that young women and girls frequently gather in large numbers at nightspots like Alvino Hotel and Jackie Guesthouse in Ganta, Yekepa, and Sanniquellie.
Many from Ganta, Sanniquellie, Lofa, Bong, and Grand Bassa Counties reportedly seek male clients for paid sex.
ArcelorMittal Liberia’s management has not yet responded officially to the allegation.
Meanwhile, the suspect awaits Court appearance on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
