Calling all runners: one of our favorite bone conduction headphones has dropped to its lowest price outside of the Black Friday sales. The deal is for the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 – and they're now on sale at Amazon for $139.95 (was $179.95).
The 4.5-star headphones are some of the best open earbuds, which give you the ability to hear your surroundings while you listen to your favorite music or podcasts. This is essential for runners who need to be fully aware of what's happening around them. You can say goodbye to those close shaves with moving cars or runners that charge past you at a race.
And while the OpenRun Pro 2 are our favorites for race-day events, they are equally fantastic for all types of running. They also boast excellent sound, stay in position, and have long-lasting battery life. All this and more for a cracking price as part of the Amazon Big Spring Sale.

These excellent bone conduction headphones for runners are down to the lowest price outside of Black Friday. With outstanding sound and an incredibly comfortable fit, the OpenRun Pro 2 is a safe bet for most people. They're also highly recommended by our Fitness & Wearables editor, Matt Evans.
When we carried out our in-depth Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 review, we rated the popular headphones an impressive four-and-a-half stars out of five stars and labeled them "the ideal runners' headphones." Given that some organized races have banned in-ear headphones, you might be forced to buy bone conduction alternatives, and you could do a lot worse than the OpenRun Pro 2.
We praised their great sound quality and good battery life, which means you'll get to enjoy your favorite music for longer between charges. The fit is also comfortable, lightweight, and stable.
One of the downsides of a lot of bone conduction headphones is that at louder volumes, they tend to create a seriously unpleasant vibrating sensation. Thankfully, for the most part, the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 don't suffer from this side effect. Our reviewer only experienced it when he switched to the classic mode because, then, the air conduction feature is turned off.
If you're keen to explore other options, then our guide to the best bone conduction headphones is the best place to start. Alternatively, if you're interested in our list of the best open-ear headphones, then we've collated all our favorites to save you the hassle.
