Gold Futures Rise To Rs 1.53 Lakh/10 Gm On Firm Spot Demand
by Northlines · NorthlinesNew Delhi, Sep 10: Gold prices on Thursday rose by Rs 231 to Rs 1,53,994 per 10 grams in futures trade, supported by firm spot demand and fresh positions created by speculators.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the gold contract for October delivery gained Rs 231, or 0.15 per cent, to trade at Rs 1,53,994 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 867 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in the precious metal’s prices to fresh positions taken by market participants.
In the international market, gold futures advanced 0.47 per cent to USD 4,419.57 per ounce in New York. (Agencies)
