GRIZZLY NIGHT Trailer Promises a Brutal Survival Thriller Set in the Wild

by · GeekTyrant

The trailer for Grizzly Night has just been released, and the upcoming survival thriller digs into the raw terror of nature turning hostile. Inspired by true events that unfold inside the unforgiving wilderness of Glacier National Park.

This is the kind of grounded, edge of your seat story that leans on atmosphere, panic, and human instinct. Directed by Burke Doeren, the film centers on a rookie park ranger whose first real test becomes a waking nightmare.

When a series of deadly grizzly attacks erupt across the park, what should’ve been a quiet summer evening spirals into chaos. Communication collapses, fear spreads fast, and survival becomes the only priority. Forced to lead a group of strangers through pitch black terrain, she must confront the brutal reality of the wild while wrestling with her own self doubt.

The cast includes Charles Esten and Oded Fehr, alongside Lauren Call, Joel Johnstone, Josh Zuckerman, Matt Lintz, Ali Skovbye, and Sophia Gray, with Brec Bassinger and Jack Griffo rounding out the ensemble.

The screenplay comes from Katrina Mathewson and Tanner Bean, based on a story by Bo Bean, and Mathewson.

Grizzly Night looks like a lean, intense thriller, and the fact that this is based on a true event is pretty crazy. “What begins as a quiet summer evening turns into a night of chaos that changes the nation’s understanding of wildlife forever.”

Distributed by Saban Films, Grizzly Night hits VOD and Digital on January 30, 2026.
