Dollar-to-Naira exchange rate today, September 11, 2026: Naira extends appreciation against USD

Central Bank of Nigeria data showed that the Nigerian currency gained to N1,326.52 against the dollar on Friday, from N1,328.22 recorded on Thursday.
On a day-to-day basis, the Naira appreciated by N1.70 against the dollar at the official foreign exchange market.
Meanwhile, at the black market, the Naira remained unchanged at N1,390 per dollar on Friday, the same rate recorded on Thursday.

In recent days, the Naira has recorded more gains than declines on the official foreign exchange market, while remaining relatively stable at the parallel foreign exchange market.
The development comes as foreign reserves surged further to $54.41 billion as of September 10, 2026, according to data from the apex bank.
