‘Tinubu practicing voodoo economics, don’t believe him’ – Kenneth Okonkwo to Nigerians

Kenneth Okonkwo, a spokesman for African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, has accused President Bola Tinubu of practising voodoo economics.

Okonkwo insisted that Tinubu’s administration is not performing, adding that it is manipulating figures to cover up the inflation rate.

In an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Okonkwo cautioned Nigerians against believing everything that comes from the APC government.

He said: “Nigerians, what I am telling you is that whatever comes out of APC, don’t believe it. The more you look, the less you see. Inflation is not coming down at all.

“Inflation is about 35 percent. Fuel prices went up from N1,100 to N1,500, and inflation is coming down. What kind of voodoo economics is that when you know that transport is at the root of everything?

“The worst thing that this government is doing is not only that they are not performing; they are now writing figures to cover it. Must everything about Tinubu and APC be written? Must it be technically glitched, even the economy?”
