‘I’m taking him to court’ – Bode George fires back at Wike over Rivers fund allegation

by · Daily Post

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Bode George has disclosed plans to file lawsuits against the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike over allegation leveled against him.

Wike had during a media chat in Abuja, challenged the elder statesman to explain the source of funds for the house he occupies in the Maitama area of the FCT, alleging that the property was linked to money from Rivers State.

Responding to the allegation, the PDP chieftain, who appeared on TVC News on Wednesday night, denied Wike’s claims.

“How was my house in Abuja bought with Rivers fund? I’m going to take him to court. I’m sure he was high on something”, he said.

Bode George also alleged that the former governor of Rivers State was disowned by his father.

“He is just the same age as my first child. Go and find out what his father did to him and what he did to his father. In Africa, do you know what it means when your biological father disowns you?

“He is talking absolute rubbish. I didn’t even build a house, I bought the house and it is still there. Am I from Rivers State that I will go there and collect funds? I’m not like him”, he added.
