Dollar to Naira exchange rate today, September 15, 2026: Naira records depreciation against USD

Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN data showed that the naira slipped against the dollar to N1,329.15 on Tuesday from N1,326.30 on Monday.
This means that, on a day-to-day basis, the naira dropped by N2.85 against the dollar at the official foreign exchange market.
Meanwhile, at the black market, the naira remained unchanged at N1,390 against the dollar on Tuesday, the same rate recorded the previous day.

The development comes despite the continued rise in the country’s external reserves, which stood at $54.61 billion, according to the apex bank’s data as of September 14, 2026.
Recall that the naira gained slightly against the dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Monday.
