Debenhams' Black Friday sale reduces 'cosy' £187 winter coat to £47

Debenhams has massively slashed the prices of hundreds of items in preparation for Black Friday and Christmas. Despite the two major shopping events being weeks away, eager shoppers don't have to wait to snag some bargain deals.

Renowned retailer Debenhams has kicked off its largest pre-Black Friday sale ever on their website here, offering up to 70% off bestsellers, with an additional discount of 22% on over 10,000 products. With beauty and fashion enthusiasts in mind, Debenhams' latest sale is a potential goldmine for gift-shopping.

Even though Black Friday isn't until November 29, the online giant is already serving up incredible discounts across various categories such as watches, anti-aging essentials, dresses, boots, and winter coats.

Of the numerous bargains on offer, one particularly noteworthy deal is turning heads, especially given the persistent cold weather. The 'Wrenly' Quilted Hooded Winter Coat by Where's That From, previously listed at £186.99 on Debenhams’, is now at a heavily reduced price of £47.59 in the Black Friday event—an astonishing 75% off, which equates to around £139 in savings.

The product description from Debenhams reads: "For a cosy outerwear piece that will keep the winter chill at bay. Comfortable and well made popular fashion coat, suitable for multiple uses. Perfect to keep warm and cosy in winter," reports the Mirror.

The black coat, adorned with a brown trim and gold tone hardware, features side pockets, a thick hood, large gold buttons down the front, and a zip fastening. Currently available in sizes S, M, XL, and XXL, the washable coat is sold out in L and XXXL.

Debenhams is offering free delivery on this product. However, some customers have raised concerns about the sizing, with one stating their purchase was "not true to size", adding: "Bought size 18 which was more like 12/14."

Another customer shared: "Sizing isn't true, I ordered two sizes above I'm normally 12-14. I normally order L or XL. But I ordered XL it was still too tight."

In other deals, H&M has the cream and black puffer jacket on sale for £24.99, down from £39.99, or the teddy trimmed coat for £42.99, down from £69.99.
