A ProArt monitor for under $200? In this economy?! It can only be Prime Day

Yesterday, as I'm sure you all know by now, I recommended a deal on a budget ASUS ProArt model ahead of Prime Day this week. It's a cheaper variant of the ProArt monitors you'll find in our guide to the best monitors for graphic artists, and I thought that was pretty good.
So imagine my surprise this morning when I looked up the official Prime Day deals and found that ASUS had done one better.
The ASUS ProArt PA278CV, now down to $199 from a sticker price of $299, is very similar to the PA278QV I covered in yesterday's deal video, but with a couple of important distinctions for creatives.
Both models are 27-inch QHD IPS panels, but the CV model has a verified 100% Rec. 709 colour coverage on top of its 100% sRGB coverage and has an independent Calman verification of its factory calibration, guaranteeing professional quality for creative use. So whether it's video, animation or photo-editing, this model should cover all your colour-coverage needs, at a fraction of the price a flagship ProArt monitor would cost you.
Yes, it's 'only' QHD resolution, but if you want a 4K option, that one is also discounted, at $349, down from $429.

This is a great option for ambitious creatives on a budget. It’s a factory‑calibrated 27‑inch QHD IPS panel with excellent colour accuracy, basically the budget version of the high‑end ProArt monitors we rave about. For photo editing, illustration and everyday creative work, it punches way above its price.

ASUS ProArt PA278QV: was $269 now $189 at Amazon
The ASUS ProArt PA278QV is also still down from $269 to $189, even though that's not an official 'Prime Day Deal'. It’s a factory‑calibrated 27‑inch QHD IPS panel with excellent colour accuracy as well, but lacks the 100% Rec. 709 coverage promise and the Calman verification.
