Now the pair are set to become husband and wife - and they shared their happy news via social media on Sunday. Both Alexandra and Darren shared snaps of the moment he got down on one knee to pop the question.

They shared the images via Instagram - along with diamond ring emojis. The pair also shared a romantic video of the venue and moment that the enchanting engagement took place.

The video was shared alongside a caption stating: "Here’s to us forever! I can’t believe I get to marry my best friend. Bring on the Burke-Randolph wedding. I can’t wait to call you my husband."

Meanwhile, a report has revealed that Darren proposed to Alexandra while they were at a five star hotel in London - and took the singer completely by surprise. The happy moment took place at the Rosewood hotel in the Holborn neighbourhood of the capital, and the pair are now excitedly planning their big day.

A source revealed: “Alexandra had no idea this was coming and was on cloud nine. Darren had gone all out to plan the most special moment for her and it was perfect. They added, spilling the secrets to The Sun: “They couldn’t be happier to start moving towards the next stage of their life together.”
