Nintendo (NTDOY) Q1 FY27 Operating Profit grew 150.5% from Q1 FY26

Nintendo's latest earnings report showed a growth in year-over-year Operating Profit.

The first quarter of Nintendo’s 2027 fiscal year has ended, and the company has come forth with its earnings report for the period. Among the financial details found within is the fact that Nintendo’s Operating Profit grew 150.5 percent from the previous year, with the company’s tariff refund contributing to that figure.

The information can be found in Nintendo’s Q1 FY27 earnings report. The company’s operating profit for Q1 was 95 billion yen, which represents a massive 150.5 percent growth from the 56.9 billion yen operating profit the company reported in Q1 FY26.

It’s worth noting that Nintendo received a $300 million tariff refund, which it acknowledged in the report. This refund boosted the company’s Operating Profit for Q1. However, even without the refund, the company’s earnings still grew year-over-year.
