Nintendo reveals new Switch 2 bundles for Mario Kart World and Switch Sports Resort

The new Switch 2 bundles for Mario Kart World and Nintendo Switch Sports will roll out in September and October, respectively.

With Switch 2 price hikes imminent, Nintendo has announced two new bundles for its hybrid console. One will see the return of launch title Mario Kart World as a pack-in, while the other will allow fans to pick up Nintendo Switch Sports Resort with their system. 

Nintendo announced the new Switch 2 bundles in a press release. The Mario Kart World Bundle will cost $549.99, a saving of $37.98 when factoring the updated price of the Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle will cost $529.99, a saving of $27.98.

The Mario Kart World Bundle will be released in late September, while the Nintendo Switch Sports Bundle will be released on October 22, the same day that the game launches. Both bundles will come with a code that can be redeemed for a digital version of the game.

Nintendo previously offered a Mario Kart World bundle when the Switch 2 launched in 2025. Mario Kart World is also included as a selection in the Choose Your Game Bundle (alongside Donkey Kong Bananza and Pokemon Pokopia). New Switch 2 price increases will take effect on September 1, 2026.
