Best and fastest ways to make money - Wardogs

There are many different methods to fill your bank with funds in Wardogs, and a lot of these come down to being a good teammate.

Wardogs isn’t your typical military shooter thanks to its money mechanic. Every action you perform in Wardogs earns you cash, which you will use to purchase weapons, ammo, armor, vehicles, resources, and even unlock new gear from the progression paths. With so much to spend money on, it can be hard to keep your piggybank full. Here are some of the best ways to earn money fast in Wardogs.

Spotting enemies

Spotting is the most boring, yet safest, way to make money in Wardogs. Buy the binoculars from the vendor and get yourself situated up high overlooking the battlefield and start spotting enemies. Every enemy you spot will earn you money, and if that enemy dies – from the hands of your allies or enemies – you will get more money.

Take the time to spot everything, and refresh the spot if the marker starts to empty. Spot FOBs to let your allies know where bases are located and spot vehicles so that you’ll earn money if it gets destroyed.

This is an extremely passive way of playing, but it’s also the only way to level up Recon so you can get those insanely powerful sniper rifles.

Revive & heal teammates

Reviving and healing teammates is always going to be a great way to earn cash. Any time you revive an ally, you will get a chunk of change. If you level up the Medic class, the defibrillators make this a speedy process.

Not only do you get the initial cash in hand, if the player you revived goes on to get kills, you will get money as well. This mechanic lasts quite a while, so hopefully you revive a real killer.

When you do revive someone, don’t walk away if they’re low on health. Take out your bandages and heal them – you’ll earn enough to recoup the cost of the bandages and then some.

Another way to earn a quick bit of cash that falls into this category is to use the Adrenaline Pen on friendlies. This gives them unlimited tactical sprint for a short time and reduces equipment weight class. If you do this while in the Control Zone you’ll earn more money, and even more if it’s the Hot Zone.

Staying in the Hot Zone

Speaking of Hot Zone, this is an obvious one, but stay in it. You earn considerably more money when in the Hot Zone compared to the Control Zone. This is definitely the riskiest method of the bunch, as you will be the focus of each teams’ attention, and you’ll be on the move. What’s more, anyone can pull the Hot Zone to their base using a drill. You’re basically a fish in a line.

Build bases

On the topic of bases, building said bases is a phenomenally easy thing to do and of utmost importance to your team. Every swing of the hammer on a structure earns you money, as does completing a structure.

When the game starts, buy a FOB, as each one comes with a medium hammer. Use this to set up the HESCO blocks and other defenses in a key position – like under a tower or on the outskirts of the Control Zone closest to your headquarters.

The goal is to keep building until you level up Support and unlock the Large Hammer. This hammer lets you build everything there is in Wardogs, including stronger structures, cement walls, anti-armor and anti-air weaponry, and prefabricated bunkers and towers.

Logistics deliveries

This one can be a bit more of a time investment, as you need to physically drive or fly between locations and there’s not much going on while you do that. However, dropping off a pallet of goods from a Lakota or Ural will net you a pretty penny. You will also receive funds when players physically unpack the pallets (or crates if you haven’t unlock pallets yet).

For those pilots who manage to unlock the Lakota, dropping off a full complement of teammates into the zone will earn you money if they survive the landing, if they go on to get kills, and if they tip you. This can be a good way to recoup some costs of the bird at the start of a match. Do a Hot Zone drop and then swoop back to base to run logistics.

Sell items to allies

Finally, and this is a bit cheeky, you can sell gear to friendlies. If you’ve leveled up a bunch of highly sought-after gear, you can fill a large crate with those items, bump up the tax, and tell your teammates they can buy the gear from the crate. You’ll make money off of every single sale.

Now, the kicker is that your allies will actually need to buy the gear. If they don’t like what you’re selling, you’ve just wasted a bunch of money. A good strategy can be to fill a crate with bandages and deliver it to the frontlines, or fill it with Recon gear and leave it at the base for players to grab.

There are, of course, other ways to make money in Wardogs, like getting kills, but these are some of the safest methods that will see you earning money fast.
