Nintendo (NTDOY) had 129 million Annual Playing Users in FY26
This was in line with trends from FY25.

This could be found in the supplementary materials slide show that was posted with Nintendo’s FY26 earnings results. On Slide 15, Nintendo shares the numbers. 129 million was exactly in line with FY25’s reported numbers, although Nintendo has yet to cross the peak it had with the 130 million reported in FY24.

There were many users switching ecosystems in Nintendo’s FY26 on the back of the Switch 2’s launch, which has crossed 19.86 million units sold since launch. While the numbers stayed the same from last year amid this transition, challenging market conditions also led Nintendo to produce a dire forecast for FY27, which included news of price increases.
