NVIDIA (NVDA) adds $150 billion to share buyback program, bumps total amount to record $235 billion
NVIDIA expects to execute the program through the 2028 fiscal year.

The announcement was made in a blog post on the NVIDIA website.
“NVIDIA’s growth is being driven by a once-in-a-generation platform shift to AI and accelerated computing,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. “Our cash generation gives us the capacity to invest in the technologies that advance this transformation and return capital to shareholders. This authorization reflects our confidence in the long-term opportunity ahead.”
NVIDIA has seen massive growth following the AI boom thanks to services like ChatGPT and Claude. The company has used these earnings to invest more resources into supporting AI services. Earlier this month, NVIDIA acquired Hugging Face for $12.9 billion.
