Netflix (NFLX) Q3 2026 earnings results beat EPS expectations, revenue in-line with estimates
Netflix's latest earnings report is out and the company's stock has reacted accordingly.
by Ozzie Mejia · ShacknewsNetflix (NFLX) has issued its quarterly earnings report for Q3 2026. The news is mostly good for the streaming company, as its $12.87 billion USD revenue is in line with investor expectations. Its earnings per share (EPS) figure came in at $0.87/share, beating analyst estimates.
"Revenue in Q3 grew 12% year over year (+11% on a foreign exchange (F/X) neutral basis), and was in-line with our forecast," reads the Netflix Q3 2026 shareholder letter. "In Q3, revenue growth was driven primarily by subscription revenue, reflecting increases in memberships and pricing, growth in advertising revenue and a favorable impact from F/X rates, net of hedging. Membership growth benefited from continued, healthy retention in every region; globally and in the US, churn improved year-over-year and was better than forecast."
The market reacted negatively to Netflix's latest earnings number. Netflix (NFLX) stock finished the trading day down $1.16/share and continues to fall in after-hours trading.
Netflix's shareholder letter acknowledges investor concern about the recent drop in viewership hours, which the company notes is related to this year's subscriber price increase. However, Netflix assets that it will make up for that viewership drop by sticking to its strategy of focusing on Netflix originals and strategic partnerships, like August's Grand Theft Auto 6 extended look.
