Anthropic, the maker of Claude AI chatbot, reportedly aims to raise more funds from investors at a $900 billion valuation. That would value the AI start-up above OpenAI as this tech bubble continues to inflate.

Bloomberg was first to report the news of this upcoming funding round and it has been confirmed by CNBC's sources. If the $900 billion valution proves to be true, this would value Anthropic more than OpenAI's most recent $850 billion valuation. Sam Altman's AI start-up has reportedly been stumbling lately, missing internal projections for revenue and active users.
