ARC Raiders, The Finals & MapleStory drove a 118% YoY increase in Nexon's Q1 2026 net income
ARC Raiders sold around 4.6 million units in Q1, with The Finals seeing a 47% YoY revenue increase and MapleStory seeing a 42% YoY revenue increase.
by TJ Denzer · ShacknewsLast weekend, Nexon reported on its Q1 2026 earnings results, and it looked like quite the good news as it reported a year-over-year (YoY) net income increase of 118%. While its Dungeon&Fighter (formerly Dungeon Fighter Online) and Mabonogi and FC IPs contributed, that increase was driven by strong sales and revenue increases from ARC Raiders, The Finals, and MapleStory.
Nexon posted its Q1 2026 earnings results on its investor relations website. In an included presentation that laid out its numbers and highlights, Nexon reported that ARC Raiders had sold 4.6 million units in Q1 alone, driving the total sales of the game to over 15.5 million. Meanwhile, The Finals saw a 47 percent increase in YoY revenue, which was attributed to the success of its Season 9 run. Finally, MapleStory saw some hype around the likes of MapleStory: Idle RPG and MapleStory Worlds that pushed it to a 42 percent YoY revenue increase.
Nexon has strong predictions about these franchises in the months ahead. The Final pushed into Season 10 at the end of March and is still going strong, ARC Raiders is currently seeking licensing for release in China, and Nexon expects MapleStory’s variety will lead to another 20 percent YoY growth in Q2.
All of this is coupled with Embark Studios (The Finals, ARC Raiders) CEO Patrick Söderlund being promoted to Executive Chairman within the Nexon company. With Söderlund moving to drive increased growth at the company, stay tuned to the Nexon topic for more updates.
