Under Night In-Birth 2 Sys:Celes DLC character Zohar revealed at EVO Japan 2026

Zohar has some sort of entity following her that allows for long-range slash attacks, and she'll be the fourth DLC character coming to Under Night 2 in 2026.

The Under Night In-Birth 2 leg of EVO Japan 2026 is over and we got a new character reveal to go with it. New DLC character Zohar will be joining the game sometime in summer 2026.

Arc System Works and developers French Bread revealed Zohar in the wake of the EVO Japan 2026 Under Night 2 tournament. Zohar looks like a puppet character, though only lightly. An entity follows her around and augments her attacks, allowing for long-range slashing and stabs with “claws encroaching unseen.” She may be able to control the entity remotely like Chaos, but for right now, it looks like it’s an extension of her attacks.

Under Night In-Birth Sys:Celes 2 had another vibrant tournament at EVO Japan 2026. Japanese player Oushuu-Hittou won it all with Seth and his mesmerizing mix-ups, but newer characters were also represented. Chobi made 2nd place on victories split between Ogre and Kuon, and Kaji and Muteki got to 5th and 6th place on Londrekia and Izumi, respectively.
