Taiwan Semi (TSM) exits ARM position after dumping $231 million of shares

Taiwan Semiconductor, one of the world’s leading chip manufacturers, has announced that it sold all of its remaining stock in ARM Holdings, another major semiconductor company.

Taiwan Semi dumped 1.11 million shares in ARM, according to an official filing spotted by Reuters. This represents $231 million in shares, leaving Taiwan Semi completely out of the ARM business.

Taiwan Semi originally invested $100 million in ARM Holdings in 2023 during the company’s initial public offering. ARM shares were down on the news of Taiwan Semi’s sale.
