New: Nightly Farbrengens Join Crown Heights Simchas Beis Hashoeva

As Crown Heights gears up for its 47th annual Simchas Beis Hashoeva, organizers are introducing a new feature to this year's five nights of Chol Hamoed celebrations: nightly farbrengens, held in partnership with Irgun Torah.

As Crown Heights gears up for its 47th annual Simchas Beis Hashoeva, organizers are introducing a new feature to this year’s five nights of Chol Hamoed celebrations: nightly farbrengens, held in partnership with Irgun Torah.

The farbrengens will run in both English and Yiddish over the course of the week, offering attendees a chance to blend the joy of dancing with moments of Chassidic inspiration.

A distinguished lineup of speakers is set to lead the Farbrengens, including Rabbi Sholom Charitonow, Rabbi Shais Taub, Rabbi Kutti Feldman, Rabbi Efraim Mintz, Rabbi Avraham Mann, Rabbi Yossi Paltiel, and Rabbi Shlomo Kaplan, among others.

Farbeisen will be served at each Farbrengen, accompanied by live music and Niggunim and dedicated security will be on hand throughout, ensuring the evenings proceed with the warmth and orderliness befitting the Simcha.

The addition comes as Simchas Beis Hashoeva in Crown Heights continues its nearly five-decade tradition under the leadership of Rabbi Yisroel Shemtov, drawing thousands of residents and visitors to the streets each night in fulfillment of the Rebbe’s encouragement to celebrate the Yom Tov with joy and dancing.

Like the nightly dancing, the farbrengens will be broadcast live each evening at SBH.live, giving those unable to attend in person the opportunity to join in from anywhere.
