As Crown Heights prepares for the 47th annual Simchas Beis HaShoeiva, four community leaders are sharing a message ahead of the celebrations.

Short videos were recorded by Rabbi Yosef Y. Braun, Mara DeAsra of Crown Heights; Rabbi Yosef Yusewitz, Rav and Mechanech in Crown Heights; social media personality Clappy; and Detective Jonathan Connors of Community Affairs, 71st Precinct.
The videos highlight the importance of a successful Simchas Beis HaShoeiva and creating a positive atmosphere for the thousands who attend each night.
The celebrations will feature nightly dancing, singers, musicians, special guests, farbrengens, children’s programming and raffles, continuing the longstanding Crown Heights tradition of Simchas Beis HaShoeiva.
This year, families will also enjoy free food and drinks, along with prizes and giveaways throughout the event.
As part of the nightly children’s program, free light-up toys will also be given out to children.
