Three rescued from burning house in Inanam

KOTA KINABALU (Sept 30): Three people were rescued from a house fire at Kampung Bantayan, Inanam on Monday.

A Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said 13 firefighters arrived at the two-storey house at 2.08am upon being informed half an hour earlier.

“Three victims who were trapped on the first floor were rescued by firefighters via a ladder through one of the windows.

“The team put the fire under control at 2.22am before concluding the operation at 3.42am,” he said in a statement.
