Bintangor firefighters safely remove large beehive from flat at Rajang teachers training institute
by Kepu Sidi · Borneo Post OnlineBINTANGOR (Oct 25): Bintangor firefighters successfully removed a football-sized beehive from a four-story flat at the Rajang Campus Teachers Training Institute last night.
Bintangor Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) chief Nicholas Belulin said they received a call from institute staff requesting assistance, as the hive was close to the residents and posed a danger to them as well as visitors.
A team of firefighters was dispatched to the location, approximately 16km from the station.
Upon arrival, they safely disposed of the beehive by torching it.
The operation took 23 minutes and concluded without any incidents.
