The Judges on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Are Making So Much Money

How Much Do the DWTS Judges Get Paid?

· Cosmopolitan

Ever wondered how much everyone gets paid on Dancing With the Stars? We have a whole breakdown of what the celebs make this way (and the troupe’s earnings over here), but the real money is going straight into the judges’ bank accounts.

So, how much do Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli make for handing down their expert critiques? Let’s get into it.

According to The Sun’s research back in 2022, Dancing With the Stars make $250,000 per season. However, there are reports that their income can reach upwards of around $1.2 million per season (this was late judge Len Goodman’s reported salary).

On that note, it’s worth pointing out that the judges likely aren’t paid the same amount as each other. Carrie Ann and Bruno have been on Dancing With the Stars since its inception, while Derek only joined the judges’ table in season 29. Presumably, he’s making slightly less money than Bruno and Carrie Ann, who had already gone through 29 full seasons of salary and contract negotiations by the time Derek showed up.

Either way, Celebrity Net Worth claims Bruno specifically is making $30,000 per episode! (They haven’t reported on Derek and Carrie Ann.)

There’s less info about Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough’s salaries, but their predecessor Tom Bergeron was reportedly earning $150,000 per episode (that’s five times Bruno’s alleged salary) according to Celebrity Net Worth. So clearly the job pays well!
