Nintendo Switch 2 Price to Increase to $500 in U.S. as Gaming Console Nears 20 Million Units Sold

Nintendo is hiking the price of its Switch 2 gaming console across territories, with plans to increase the cost to $499.99 in the U.S. beginning Sept. 1.

The news comes alongside Nintendo’s latest earnings results, reported Friday, which tout the Switch 2’s 19.86 million units sold as of March 31.
