Tom Brady’s Production Company Launches Celebrity Trivia-Based YouTube Show ‘Chasers’ (EXCLUSIVE)

by · Variety

Tom Brady is going social with his next series. His Shadow Lion production shingle is behind “Chasers,” which it’s dubbing “the world’s first trading-card trivia format.” Brady will appear in the premiere episode, which launches May 20 on YouTube.

Kevin Bonner hosts “Chasers,” which will feature celebrity guests as they aim to identify four cards via insightful questions — and then dive deep into how they’re connected.

Here’s how the digital series is explained: “In each episode, a different celebrity guest attempts to answer trivia questions to identify cards that are in some way related to their lives. Someone from their hometown, a player they share a record with, or maybe just an unknown obsession or skill. Each card starts a new topic of conversation, and correct answers reveals a card to win a guess in the final round.”

This reps Shadow Lion’s first social show. “Chasers” will drop biweekly on YouTube beginning May 20; after its initial premiere, 90-second episode cutdowns will appear on Instagram and TikTok.

Brady noted that the series was inspired in part by his life-long collecting hobby, as well as the growth of his “CardVault by Tom Brady” business.

“My team at Shadow Lion launching ‘Chasers’ is the perfect way to keep the momentum rolling,” Brady said in a statement. “The hobby has so much to offer, and this show meets people where they are. At the end of the day, I just love seeing all my friends working together in the same orbit.”

Brady is an executive producer on “Chasers,” along with Bonner, Gilad Haas and Philip Byron. Ethan Byrne is the director.

Bonner is the voice behind Brady’s “Last Week With Tom series on YouTube, which the company says has achieved more than 500 million impressions since it launched in 2025. He has collaborated with Brady for more than a decade.

“Making ‘Chasers’ with Gilad, Ethan and the Shadow Lion team has been the most fun project I’ve worked on, and hopefully that comes across when you’re watching,” Bonner said in a statement. “Cards and collectables are on fire, but often times people don’t know where to start. ‘Chasers,’ an original home-grown Shadow Lion social show, will be an open door that starts with great conversation and invites people of all ages into the space.”

Brady launched Shadow Lion in 2017 with Bonner, Haas, Jeff Fine and his manager Ben Rawitz. Former SpringHill Co. exec Byron joined late last year to expand Shadow Lion into films, scripted, documentaries, unscripted, digital and live programming.

Shadow Lion’s current output includes “All In: IndyCar,” an untitled Michigan football docuseries for Fox Sports, “Sundae Conversation with Caleb Pressley” and “Pound4Pound with Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo.” The company also has unscripted projects in the works at Amazon and Peacock, while its creative studio collaborates with brands such as Pepsi, NFL, Hertz, Hasbro, Under Armour and Meta.
