“I forgot which button to press” – Kind M’sian Steps In to Help Struggling Pak Cik at ATM to Transfer Money for Child’s Studies

Taking to Threads, @incik_random recalled bumping into the uncle at an ATM, where he was holding a small notebook and some cash while waiting for his turn.

According to Incik_random, he noticed that the pak cik was having trouble using the ATM when it was his turn. After watching him spend quite some time pressing buttons on the machine, he decided to ask if he needed any help.
“I want to transfer some money, but I’ve forgotten which buttons to press,” the pak cik replied.
Incik_random then offered to help with the transfer and asked who the money was for. The pak cik explained that he wanted to send money to support his child’s studies.
In the post, Incik_random also shared how the experience left him feeling emotional as the pak cik slowly read out each digit of the account number.
“I helped him with the transfer, feeling a lump in my throat as I listened to him slowly read out each digit of the account number written in his little notebook,” he wrote.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Incik_random shared a heartfelt reminder for young Malaysians who are working hard in their studies to build a better future for themselves and their families.
He encouraged them to keep pushing forward, reminding them to appreciate their parents and make them happy while they still have the chance.
“Keep studying and work hard until you succeed. Change your family’s future and make them happy while they’re still here with you. There are so many fathers out there just like him,” he said.
