“We’ll be just fine” – M’sian Dad Breaks Down in Tears After Receiving Note From Daughter Following Retrenchment

Taking to Threads, Rahaizuddin (@rahaizuddin) recalled how he and other employees were informed of their retrenchment during the company’s town hall.

Rahaizuddin shared that many employees broke down in tears after hearing the news, but he managed to hold himself together while they were still at the town hall.
However, things changed when he got home and his daughter handed him some chocolate along with a handwritten note that read:
“It’s okay, Ayah, we’ll be just fine. We love you, Daddy.”
The gesture was enough to bring his emotions to the surface, with Rahaizuddin admitting that he could no longer hold back his tears.
“Today, the town hall announced that we would be retrenched. Many people were crying in the hall, but I managed to hold it together.
“Then, when I got home, my child handed me this, and I immediately broke down in tears. Thank you to my wife and children for being my strongest support,” he wrote.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Rahaizuddin also shared a message for his fellow colleagues who are facing the same situation:
“Please pray that everyone who worked at the company stays strong and patient as we face this news. The company has always taken good care of its employees’ welfare, which is why everyone reacted this way. We’re all like one big family, and everyone is sad to leave one another.”
