A kitchen deal earns its space when it fits something you already want to cook. Three current Amazon offers cover very different jobs: the Ninja Crispi for small-batch air frying and leftovers, the Ninja CREAMi for frozen desserts, and Breville’s Joule Turbo for app-guided sous vide.

Each costs less than $170. The better purchase depends on whether you want easier leftovers, frozen treats you’ve planned ahead, or a guided way to cook in a water bath.

Ninja Crispi: $152.95 for the Sage four-in-one kit

The compact Ninja Crispi FN101SG puts its heating unit on top of a glass container. The Sage kit includes a 4-quart container, a smaller 6-cup container and storage lids. That setup makes sense if you want to cook a small meal and keep leftovers in the same vessel.

Its four modes are Max Crisp, Bake, Air Fry and Recrisp. The removable PowerPod and nesting containers are the attraction here, especially if a large, permanently parked air fryer would crowd your counter. “Portable” still requires an electrical outlet.

This offer is for the four-in-one FN101SG. Our Crispi Pro review covers the larger six-in-one model.

Ninja CREAMi: $169.99, with freezer planning required

The matte-black NC299AMZ CREAMi works from a frozen base. You prepare the mixture in its pint container, freeze it for 24 hours, then process it. That makes it a better fit for someone who plans tomorrow’s dessert than someone expecting ice cream immediately after opening the box.

This particular bundle includes one 16-ounce pint and lid. Its seven programs cover ice cream, gelato, sorbet, milkshakes, smoothie bowls, lighter ice cream and mix-ins. The Re-spin function gives you another processing pass when needed.

Check the model number before adding spare pints. Choose replacements labeled for NC299AMZ or the NC300 series; Deluxe and Swirl pints aren’t compatible with this kit. Extra pints are sold separately and let you keep more than one flavor ready in the freezer.

Breville Joule Turbo: $149.95 for cooks comfortable using an app

The Joule Turbo BSV600PSS1BNA1 is an immersion circulator for water-bath cooking. You’ll need a compatible smartphone or tablet to use it. Breville+ provides guided recipes, progress monitoring and notifications.

The 1,100-watt circulator has a magnetic base for suitable cookware and is small enough to store in a drawer. Breville says Turbo can halve the cooking time for selected recipes compared with traditional sous vide.

You’ll need your own cooking vessel and suitable food packaging. This kit includes the circulator and a stainless steel ruler.
